Launch Screen Customization
The first screen that appears when eKeypad Pro is launched can be customized. There are three different interface styles available in eKeypad. Each uses a different method for customization.
Side Menu
Tab Bar
Main Menu
Missing Edit Button
If you do not see the edit buttons mentioned below, it is possible that editing has been disabled in your copy of eKeypad Pro. Open the Config -> “Look and Feel” screen. Make sure the “Edit Interface” switch is turned ON.
Side Menu
The side menu is the default interface style in eKeypad Pro. You can set the screen displayed at launch by placing this screen at the top of the menu list.
- If not already open, tap on the icon of the three bars in the lower left corner to expose a menu on the left side of the screen.
- Tap on the edit button in the top left corner of the menu to allow editing of the menu.
- When in editing mode, all menu rows will have an image of three bars on the right side. Touch and hold this image to change the order of the rows.
- The row at the top of the menu list will be the screen displayed when eKeypad is launched.
- Tap on the done button in the top left corner of the menu to save changes to the menu order.
Tab Bar
The Tab bar interface in eKeypad Pro is the legacy interface style. You can set the screen displayed at launch by placing this screen in the left most tab slot.
- If not already open, tap on the More icon in the right most tab bar interface.
- Tap on the edit button in the top right corner of the screen to allow editing of the tab bar.
- When in editing mode, all menu rows will transform into a grid of icons. Tap and drag icons to change the icons visible in the tab bar. You can also drag icons already in the tab bar to re-order them.
- The icons in the left most location in the tab bar will be the screen displayed when eKeypad is launched.
- Tap on the done button in the top right corner of the screen to save changes to the tab bar order.
Main Menu
Editing the main menu interface is performed in the eKeypad configuration screens. Like the side menu, the screen at the top of the menu list will be the screen displayed at launch.
- If not already open, navigate to the Config screen in eKeypad Pro.
- Tap on the “Look and Feel” link, then tap on the “Menu Order Customization” link.
- Touch and drag rows to re-order the list.
- Additionally, on the Config -> “Look and Feel” screen, you will find a “Menu Order Customization” link. You can use this link to customize the order.
- The row at the top of the menu list will be the screen displayed when eKeypad is launched.
- Tap the “< Back” button in the top left corner of the screen to save the changes and apply the new order.
